The Bronx Musuem Presents: Bronx Talks
The Bronx Museum is thrilled to invite you to the next edition of Bronx Talks on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 12 noon to 2pm. Join us at The 8th Floor for light lunch and compelling conversation with Co-Founder of the Rubin Museum of Art Don Rubin, lead by Baruch Professor and Young Lords Scholar Johanna Fernández. Professor Fernández will lead a discussion with Mr. Rubin, who, in the 1970s, initiated negotiations between Bronx city officials and medical groups to create a medical center on 149th St and raised community awareness around issues of healthcare.
The Bronx Talks lunch series brings together small groups of supporters like you in an intimate setting to engage with artists and visionaries who have inspired us and who speak to the unique mission of the Bronx Museum. There is no fee for this luncheon, but seating is very limited. To reserve your spot, please RSVP by Friday, March 1st to Lauren Click, Manager of Public Programs, at (718) 681-6000, ext. 131 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The 8th floor is located at 17 West 17th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues, New York City, 10011.
Thank you again for your support and we look forward to seeing you there!
